Alexander Hegner represents owners, investors and developers in the acquisition, disposition, development and financing of commercial real estate, including industrial, hotel, multi-family and industrial properties. His practice also consists of structuring venture financing and negotiating distressed real estate loan workouts for both lenders and borrowers. 

Alex was born in Marietta, Georgia and after a brief time spent in Alabama and Florida for school and baseball, moved to the city for his time at Georgia State University. His family has roots in western Pennsylvania which resulted in Alex’s passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the colors black and yellow. He and his wife Kaitlin now live in West Midtown with their two dogs, Dexter and Daisy.

Alex is actively involved in the Atlanta community, AYREP, Urban Land Institute’s Technical Assistance Panel, and Commercial Real Estate Finance Council. His passion outside of the office includes finding new local restaurants to check out, golf, keeping up with the Atlanta Braves, traveling with his wife, and spending time with friends and family.
