Liz Barnett primarily focuses her practice on commercial real estate and lending transactions, representing clients on matters ranging from real estate finance to the acquisition, development, and leasing of property across various asset classes, including hospitality, commercial, multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use projects.
Before (and during) law school, Liz worked full-time as a paralegal for a law enforcement agency within the Department of Justice, which is what inspired her to attend law school. While in law school, she also interned with the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and assisted on multiple high-profile enforcement cases during her time there.
As a past U.S. National Champion rower, Liz still enjoys going for leisurely rows in her single scull. She also loves spending quality time at the barn with her horse, Panda, and any opportunity to get outside to enjoy the great outdoors with family and friends.
